The Hep Cat Club is every Monday at the Twisted Pepper on Middle Abbey Street. There's a beginners class at 8pm  every week - all welcome! No experience or partner needed.

February classes at the Hep Cat Club - Solo Jazz at 7pm, Improvers Swing at 7pm, Beginners Swing at 8pm, Blues at 8pm, Intermediate Exchange 9pm.

Monday 13th Feb - The fantastic five piece band Anita Williams & ROUGE will be playing hot jazz and cool blues to get the Hep Cat Club jumpin and grinding.

    Route 66 at The Turks Head

    Every Wednesday, there are drop in  East Coast Swing classes from 7pm til 8.45pm taught by Jamie Furler, followed by social dancing to a great range of music.

    The Beginners Swing class is at 8.00pm til 8.45pm – this is a drop in class and ideal for people who have never tried  East Coast swing before. Each week Jamie takes you through the basic rhythms and shows you some moves to get you dancing.

    After a couple of months in the 8.00pm class, you’ll want to progress. This is where the 7.00pm – 7.45pm class comes in handy. You'll learn some more advanced moves. Like the Beginners class, this is a drop in class.

    The cost of each class is included in the €8 entry price for Route 66. Do stay on after the classes to enjoy the social side of learning to dance. Jamie is joined on the decks by a host of guest DJs.
